Treader Zine by Hannah Lee Hall, Annika Johnson, & Dog Eye Press

$10.00

Treader is an instruction manual for a being who finds themselves in a post-apocalyptic eden. It was co-authored by Hannah Lee Hall and Annika K. Johnson, and illustrated with photographs taken by Hall then selected and arranged by Johnson. Originally conceived as an accompaniment to an art exhibit staged by the authors, the manual has lived on independently as a meditation on interconnectivity and the ecstasy and despair of inhabiting a human body on a planet undergoing cataclysmic change. With everything stripped away, what are we left with; how do we distinguish the hours, how do we locate ourselves, and where do we draw the line?“ -Hannah Lee Hall
