About the Shop at MCBA
In our online store, you’ll find a curated selection of artists’ books, artmaking resources, cards, notebooks, prints, and gifts. To see the whole collection, visit us in person on the first floor of the Open Book Building at 1011 Washington Avenue S, Minneapolis, MN 55415.
The Shop at MCBA supports the mission of Minnesota Center for Book Arts. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, MCBA relies on income from the Shop to engage thousands of people a year in the book arts—from artists and adult learners to children and families. Additionally, when you purchase work from one of our 200+ consignment artists, your dollars directly support them.

HOURS
We are open to the public Tuesday–Saturday 10am–5pm, and Thursday 10am-7pm.
SHIPPING & RETURNS
We offer free domestic shipping on orders over $100. Any order with an item priced at or over $200 will now receive our Insured Shipping rate of $19.99.
Please allow 3–4 business days for your order to be processed. MCBA staff is following CDC guidelines and taking the utmost safety precautions when fulfilling orders. Products are shipped via USPS and will arrive within 5–8 business days after processing time.
If you are dissatisfied with an item, received the wrong item, would like to exchange, or have any questions regarding your order, please email theshop@mnbookarts.org. Please note that all consignment work is non-refundable. Returns of non-consignment work are accepted within 30 days of sale with receipt.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Please contact theshop@mnbookarts.org for all international orders.
We will provide you with a shipping quote and work with you to finalize your order.
IN-STORE PICKUP
Items are available for free in-store pickup Tuesday–Saturday, 10am–5pm. When placing your order, choose “Pickup” as your order option. Please add your name and a planned pickup day when prompted. Pickup will be held in our store located on the first floor of the Open Book Building at 1011 Washington Avenue S, Minneapolis, MN 55415.
Please plan to pick up your order within one week of order placement. MCBA may make an effort to contact you about your order if you miss your pick-up date. If your order is not picked up within three weeks of the order date, MCBA may issue a refund for the items in your order. We understand things come up, if you’d like to extend your pick-up window or arrange for your order to be shipped to you, please call 612-215-2530.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates can be purchased here using PayPal. Gift certificates may be applied toward in-store purchases, as well as workshops, and studio rentals. At this time, we can only accept gift certificates in-store, not through our online shop. Please contact theshop@mnbookarts.org if you have any questions about gift certificates.
